By using VA-01 Viral Blue Wave, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What this tool does

VA-01 Viral Blue Wave is a free, browser-based editor for creating short campaign videos. You choose layouts, add your own photos or video, write on-screen text, and export a finished clip on your device. We provide the tool as-is for campaign volunteers and supporters in Virginia's VA-01 congressional district.

Your content and responsibilities

You are responsible for the photos, videos, text, and finished exports you create. Only upload media you have the right to use. Do not use the tool to create content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights. Campaign messaging should comply with applicable election and advertising laws in your jurisdiction.

No endorsement of user content

We do not review or approve every video made with this tool. A video created here does not represent an official statement by the VA-01 Democrats unless clearly labeled as such by the campaign.

Facebook and third-party services

Optional Facebook sign-in and sharing features connect your browser directly to Meta and other services you choose. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party platforms or how they handle your data or posts.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, branding, default layouts, music options, and built-in campaign assets are provided for use with this tool. You retain ownership of media you supply. You grant no license to us for your personal photos or videos — they stay on your device unless you export or share them yourself.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that exports will meet the requirements of every social platform.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost data, failed exports, or issues with third-party sharing.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised terms.
